What is it?

Eczema is a common skin condition affecting many people around the world. It causes itching, inflammation and dryness as well as a red, rough appearance to the skin.

Causes

There are a number of factors which are believed to cause eczema, although the exact cause is unclear.  Eczema often runs in families and can be aggravated by triggers. Common triggers include:

  • ·         Medicated creams and moisturisers can be applied to the affected areas to help heal flare ups.
